She cheated on me years ago and since then I've had deep trust issues which made me depressed and now she finds life with me impossible because she either has guilt issues (her statement) or wants to live life and party and ride the carousel (my theory) which will inevitably make my life hell for the next year at least. Friend, I went through the same exact thing last year. I was with one woman from the age of 15-25. Who you select when you're fifteen is rarely the ideal person for you when you're in your mid-twenties. For the sake of not feeling like you lived a third of your life as a mistake, finish things amicably and peacefully, pay this woman out what she gave you and a tad more, and then move on with your life. I swear it gets better after a while. I spent a year working on myself and just met an amazing woman two weeks ago. I now feel so lucky that i got away from the last one, and am free to pursue. You'll doubt the decision for months but you will turn the corner eventually and realize how lucky you were to see the writing on the wall and not throw your life away.
