Perhaps, but normies don't know that. The token value is quite literally created by the delusion of the app users that their time is valuable. The transfer pilot showed that people are willing to trade real goods and services for Pi, and the average value was something like 2-3$. Of course that level can't be maintained when it's put on exchanges but we'll see how it goes.

I only have 3.5k since only a couple people I got in my earning network still mine it. Idk I think a lot of anons are too impatient to see how it will play out since the dev team isn't exactly rushing it. I do however hope that it will start to see some real valuation by years end, even if it's low, and possibly go to $1 by this time next year. Slow and steady wins the race lads.

In the year I've been following Pi it has only recently experimented in any way with user transfers and is still a long way off from being on the market or tradeable in any way, they still haven't worked out the kinks for kyc to allow in-app transfers or transactions.
Die mad but it's still gonna be lucky to be $1 by this time next year. In more time, who knows, but I doubt they'll finish working out in-app transfers before 2020 is over.

The devs aren't, in fact they have the Mods go through the chats insisting that the value is 0.00$ whenever it's discussed, perhaps as a strategy of plausible deniability and to insulate themselves from lawsuits.
I'm referring to the development of Pi futures. Some of these have been branded as illegal sales, but nevertheless the general sentiment has shifted from 0.1 to 0.3$ over the past 12 months or so. There's definitely an interest in Pi, well see what comes of it.

Well, the devs have to eventually put it on exchanges if only to cash out. The prevailing theory on /biz/ when Pi started was that Pi is just a common exit scam and the devs (+ a handful of early adopters) will get to sell their stacks during a very brief window of opportunity after it goes on exchanges and then the value crashes to zero. Essentially the Electroneum route.
But if they wanted to do that, they allready could have, why fuck around for 12+ months. Well, my hope is that they are actually working on the infrastructure proposed in the white paper behind the scenes, which would be amazing. It's also possible that they pussied out of exit scamming and just decided to milk the app for ad money now that it has reached a critical mass of users, but then again that's peanuts compared to a well executed exit scam. Who knows? We will see.

i wont be buying much Pi due to NEETfunds running short. I intend to sell enough pi for 1-2 years of hodling (20,000USD worth). Maybe it pays off (nature of hodl) or get rekt by being greedy (still profit and continue neeting).

One of the reasons why I am bullish is because regardless of the price, this is the supernormieproof and boomerfriendly cryptoapp with unlimited apps to be built on top, similarly to wechat the very popular chat app in chynhaaa and of course as mentioned chinese connections are loving pi - smalltimers and ogs both.


also had multiple meetings over voice with core team and i like the progress - some may think it's slow or non existant, but they are shortsighted and can't weigh up the project well enough.
