If the Fed can press the "Trillion Dollar Print" button every day without consequences, why didn't they do it just once before the pandemic and use it to fix the entire national infrastructure. Roads, hospitals, schools, etc, creating 10s of thousands of jobs in the process?

The pandemic is a ruse to bring about the controlled demolition of a system that would have failed anyway.
This way, the people who caused the collapse can retain power and not get their arses hung out to dry, as they simply blame it on the virus.
Pretty obvious, really. Also, they can make changes to lots of existing laws and usher through a new system, eroding our liberties and enslaving us even more.

Because money is just digits so it can't actually build roads, hospitals, schools, all it can do is make other digits go up.

If you want roads, hospitals, and schools then you actually have to have a workforce to build them. Instead they are busy servicing the rich and elite. They don't have time to actually build things of value for regular folk.
