So my friend got me into Ethereum in Dec so I followed his advice and bought in at $6, and made 100k from pretty much nothing. Well now he came to me and said he is going on some hard times and didnt have the money to invest at the time. Should I give him 4-5k as a friendly tip or tell him to fuck off?

if you give him money, dont do it as a loan. expect nothing back. loans can ruin friendships

>> No.1994482

He's lying. He didn't heed his own advice and just blew it all on shitcoins.

Get your lawyer and give him the money as a loan w/ interest.

No. If you give a man something who has nothing how is he going to pay you back?
Help people to the point that you don't have to hold their burden.
b-but it's only a little bit!
Not if he keeps coming back with empty pockets.
Instead, teach him how to be better with his own money so that when the next big thong comes around he can invest in it himself.

Yep. I saved it up over two years in minimum wage. I lost a ton of money in the traditional market last summer, so he told me hes got the secret. To go all in on 'Ethereum' and then don't sell no matter what. Then he sent me to codebase, and I had nothing to lose and decided to go all in.

It's not a biz question, it's an ethical question. I say give him a couple grand, he tipped you off to the opportunity, and friends look out for one another.

>> No.1994684

Give him 5K max. But tell him this is a one time thing and he shouldn't expect more (is friendly way).
Be thankful for the tip but you are not a charity.
