Bitcoin's implementation of Lightning wasn't the best, but they along with many others implemented LN nonetheless and what's done is done. Development continues as usual. Additionally, Stakenet will have full interoperability with Raiden so it reaps all the benefits of wBTC and will more than likely be the definitive LINK exchange.

More specifically...

"...Blocknet did apply to be listed on Binance’s Exchange on August 2018, submitting the standard online application. The project followed the usual procedure, which includes answering a series of simple form of questions about the team, nature of the project, target industry, etc.

These are standard non-intrusive questions that Binance asks all projects applying to be listed. However, when it came to Blocknet, apparently these standard questions were not enough to evaluate their application; Binance’s head of business development, Ashley Ouyang, had then sent an email to Blocknet with an additional application form that included more questions.

Blocknet filled out the form and responded to Ashley the very next day. Then over a month went by with no response from Binance.

The radio silence from Binance seemed suspicious to Blocknet, and they began reviewing the questions they had answered in the second application. Only then they realized how much more intrusive the questions were, which made them even more suspicious.

>Some of the many questions in the second application include information on:
>Blocknet’s interoperability infrastructure and whether they could find the code in their GitHub.
>Why Blocknet chose to build their DEX
>How Blocknet solves the domain name system problem in the blockchain
>If Binance could receive access to BlockNet’s private repository to view their latest developments

As we already mentioned, when Blocknet answered all of these questions and submitted the application, Binance cut off all communication with them and would not reply anymore.

Given that Binance announced that they would be launching their DEX on March 2018 (5 months before Blocknet’s application), some questions are raising whether or not Binance was trying to gather as much information about their competitors to help fastrack Binance DEX development process."

Stakenet was collaborating with the LTC Foundation at the time on Litecoin's LND. They turned a very lengthy (30 min+) and technologically heavy process that required a spaghetti of wires and a reasonably intimate understanding of Linux, networking, and LN into one that is completely done in software, almost immediately, across multiple OSes for multiple coins.

Mind blown... Wow.

Why is this not listed on more exchanges?

Noones gonna post this shit so I guess I will.

We are excited to give our **first graphic introduction to our LN DEX architecture** + short point summary to go with it (below). We will be releasing more graphics, documentation, and details as we move out of testing and into production. If anyone has any questions, let us know in <#374568694690611204>, will be glad to answer and discuss

Progress is going well, we have swaps working at ~80-85% success rate, when they are 95%+ we can begin to set the launch date. We are improving, building & fixing every day, and will be preparing an announcement on the next addition/ project to add to the DEX for launch soon.

**GRAPHIC SUMMARY**

• Users connect to Stakenet wallet which gives access to a network of liquidDEX Routing HUBs (planned to be migrated and run on 2nd layer of the **XSN blockchain**)

• Through these DEX HUBs users will be able to connect and route to others executing non custodial P2P swaps

• Our DEX API allows traders, and users (via in wallet open source DeFi software) to connect to external exchanges and easily implement strategies, earn profits and provide liquidity to the DEX

XSN is a threat to centralized exchanges. But soon enough they will bend the knee and list XSN.

THREADLY REMINDER
>LN was poorly implemented
I don't see how Lightning will take off beyond a hobbyist phase without massively centralized interests getting involved.
>Stakenet designed an ecosystem that takes what Bitcoin implemented for LN and makes extraordinarily powerful use of it
Stakenet's solution is notable for embedding LN nodes into masternodes so the LN nodes have access to all the collateral locked in the MNs (quasi-centralized liquidity pool within a purely decentralized network). The nodes will be running 24/7 in the background atop all that liquidity to rout payments and should take very little maintenance to keep up.

It could very well solve multiple problems in the industry by meshing the gears of many underutilized together.

Lightning?
>Lack of liquidity. Not profitable enough at the individual level.
Staking?
>Inflationary. Sometimes to an extreme. Underutilized use-case outside of securing the integrity of the network.
DEXs?
>Low liquidity, low volume, paper-thin orderbooks, AND difficult to access for 99.9x% of the world.
Atomic swaps?
>A big win for DEXs but still potentially very slow depending on which coins are being swapped.
Masternodes?
>Like so many staking coins, what do they do other than secure the integrity of the network and inflate the circulating supply?

Using m a s t e r n o d e s and the collateral locked within them to power L i g h t n i n g A t o m i c S w a p s which serve as the infrastructure for what could very well become the speediest and most liquid D E X in the industry and using a conservative inflationary supply to gradually produce more m a s t e r n o d e s which, in a way, provide an opening to expand the exchange with additional servers so it doesn't hit a bottleneck. It's both genius and shocking that no one in crypto seems to even know that it exists.

All this FUD is very bullish. Grab a seat /biz/, once we take off we aren't coming back down.

There is something about this. The digits, the right tech at the right time.
