19905288 No.19905288 [Reply] [Original]

can we get a ethprime thread going?
whos using this rn?
whats your current ROI?

>> No.19905357

>>19905288
i put 5 eth in yesterday, looking good so far (tokens have dropped abit but can go both ways i guess)

>> No.19905682

how safe is my eth in prime??

>> No.19905761

>>19905682
contract is verified and tronprime has been running for 4 months fine, so should be good anon

u can reduce your risk also by borrowing 50% of your deposit out (so if theres a hack then u only lose 50%) unlike in COMP where u could lose all

>> No.19906155

Doing good, divs are crazy. Too bad gas fees are so expensive right now. Reinvesting the divs costs like 5$, so I will probably wait some days (or weeks) before reinvesting my divs.

>> No.19906193

>>19905288
How does this work? I never quite understood whether it's a ponzi or not.

>> No.19906205

>>19906193

Smart contract based Ponzi scheme.

>> No.19906239

I put .2 with in just to see what this is about

>> No.19906265

>>19906205
Any proof?
If it’s sketchy I won’t throw anymore in

>> No.19906373

>>19906193
It's a dapp fund. Not really a ponzi, there are just expensive fees to enter and exit, if you stay in the contract longer you will benefit from all the fees from people exiting and entering. You can also take out 50% of your investment anytime as an interest free loan to reduce the risk as well.

>> No.19906389

>>19906205
>>19906193
not technically a ponzi

think of it like staking but 10% stake fee & 10% unstake fee

last person to join can still easily profit as long as they stay in (collect unstaking fees as people exit) completely solvant, not like a ponzi

>> No.19906460

>>19906373

Weird.

Multi level marketing has high cost of entry. It's almost as if that's a Ponzi scheme.

Quite a smart idea though. Bet the maker is making a killing. Wish I would've thought of it.

>> No.19906582

>>19906460
faq says only 1% platform fee and will be decreased in future but dev is benefiting probably from unipower token in the bundle (increased promo/action for his token)

>> No.19906792

>>19906460
lol very polite scammers who gave 50% of my deposit back

>> No.19906901

If you plan to park your ETH for a while this seems like a good solution. I was using crypto.com, but you have no way to access any funds till staking is completed which sucks.

>> No.19907106

This one will be huge, look at what Tronprime have done

>> No.19907225

>>19906901
yep plus ethprime.io way better annual roi than crypto.com

>> No.19907872

I put in a handful of ETH yesterday and already have some nice divs. I expect one or two Youtubers will monetize this with an affiliate link to their followers and awaaaaaaay we go...

>> No.19908264

>>19906389
This is the key. Even if you join and everyone drops out, you come out ahead. The only way you lose is if everyone just stays in there waiting for everyone else to exit first. But in my experience 95% of people will sell at a loss every time if they get cold feet about a coin and this is no different.

>> No.19908510

>>19908264
yep, every player has opportunity to win here -just park some eth and stay strong hands & enjoy the slow passive divs
(better % than any other eth defi)

>> No.19908672

>>19907225

That's cause it's a Ponzi scheme you retard.

>> No.19908826

>>19908672
I'd agree if there wasn't an exit fee.

>> No.19908974

>>19908672
Ethprime does not make promises it can not keep, does not require new money to profitable, has only one level referral. Not really a ponzi...

>> No.19909741

>>19908672
>doesnt understand how it works
literally last guy to join can make profit just by collecting peoples EXIT fees

doesnt rely on "new investors" like a ponzi (definition)

>> No.19909873

>>19906460
Listen Niger your stupid Niger brain is too stupid to comprehend what a Ponzi even is this is an hourglass dapp built on an hourglass dapp built off of uniswap.

>> No.19909901

>>19908264
Also this roi doesn't take into account etherium appreciating against the USD

>> No.19910413

put in 50 ETH yesterday, already 0.38 ETH in divs, i can live with this

if you were comfy holding a stack of ETH anyway instead of going 100% into shitcoins anyway, this is a great way to put your ETH.

if you are always 100% in the biz shitcoin of the day, this may not be for you

>> No.19910544

>>19910413
this, not for the high-risk uniswap chasers..but for longterm interest on parked eth

also you can loan almost 50% out for free just to play the high-risk stuff whenever you want

>> No.19910798

>>19910413
Pretty much. If you're interested in accumulated ETH for staking down the line with the occasional loan for a shit coin or two, this is pretty comfy

>> No.19914570

What should I be selecting for cashout percentage? I don't understand what this even means.

>> No.19914607

>>19914570
That's just the % you're trying to remove from the contract (less the 10% fee.)

>> No.19914664

>>19914607
oh. derp. I thought it was demanding that I select this before I had even deposited. So how much do I lose upon withdrawal? The FAQ alludes to 20% but it isn't quite clear

>> No.19914690

This seems pretty shitty given that I just lost 20% of my eth. Hope he returns are worth it

>> No.19914847

>>19914664
lose 10% on depositing
lose 10% on cashing out

can do partial cashouts (that's the slider)

can take out a loan on 50% of your withdrawal without any fees other that you have to repay before you can withdraw your stack. having an outstanding loan also decreases your dividend gain by a measly 5%

so basically just deposit and let it sit, take out loan when needed

>> No.19914923

>>19914690
The fees are 10% in and 10% out. The gas cost for deposit could be like 10$ currently because eth is congested.

>> No.19914927

>>19914847
I don't know. I put some eth in but I'm not convinced. If the market tanks, you won't have made anything, since you get paid in eth not usd. If the market stays stable or pumps, you could've made more in a shitcoin or longing eth. Then there's the fact that this looks like a veiled ponzi scheme and smart contracts fail all the time, even big secure ones.

>> No.19915459

>>19914927
Well shitcoins and longing eth are more risky, there is the possibility it could fail I guess but I doubt it. TronPrime looks to have been running smoothly so far.

>> No.19915863

>>19914927
its just a good place to park some eth, not usd

>> No.19916267

>>19914927
yeah it's really for eth maximalists/long holders. then it's a pretty good tradeoff, good divs for the fact that you can take up to 50-70% out as a loan again.

if you're good with shitcoins then you'd make more yes, but most wojaks around here might just get rekt
