I think it would have been a great idea to buy PLUG in October 1998. Otherwise I would invest in petroleum right now because it's not going anywhere and stuff like AMPY is stupid cheap

Hey, stock market journeyman here. Lost alot of money in my early days, but im doing pretty good so far recently. Been in stocks since late 2016.

PRO TIPS:

1.) ETFs much safer then individual stocks
2.) Dont go all in. EVER.
3.) The stock market is way overvalued and has been that way for the last half a decade. It just keeps going up, lol.
4.) Nasdaq has outperformed the SPY for a long ass time.
5.) Keep your fees low, your portfolio diverse, and Dollar Cost Average over a LONG period of time. Like, at least a year. Especially if your a rookie.

If you need to short something, short a penny stock in a volatile sector, like oil and gas or shipping or something.
