SYNQA only has two subsidiaries, OMG Network and Omise the payment company that started OMG Network. The whole point of OMG Network is to run the Omise payment company on it. SYNQA doesn’t have any other businesses so there is nowhere for the money to go other than to further the potential of OMG Network and Omise

Just a little speculation if Toyota really is going to be launching a mobile wallet on the OMG block chain.
The NSCAI was talking some shit about autonomous fleet vehicles pricing out personal car ownership. This is the only logical reason that a car company would get into the payments business. If autonomous vehicles are getting ready for prime time, we're looking at a true paradigm shift.

It only costs a few bucks to charge an EV. The maintainance costs are reduced to breaks and tires. Obviously this would be cheaper and more convenient for most commuters than owning a car, unless you need a work truck.
