Why would it be valued at $1,000, much less $86,000? I’ve seen some reviewers say maybe $10 (which is decent)

Two understand LINK you need to understand also philosophy along with tech.

I’ve gone on a reading spree ever since i’ve invested into it, the best way to explain it is via tragedy of the commons.

When you have a thin protocol, it allows apps like google/fb/amazon to dominate because of the way they store information in lieu of free service and maintain a monopolistic practice. It snufff out innovation.

In fat protocol, no app value can dominate the protocol value, so the wealth remains with the protocol. When more people create, the protocol becomes more valuable starting this feedback loop, the tokens become more valuable in turn.

>> No.19821603

>>19821564
So the value remains with the protocol, not the app
And you think that LINK (or the Blockchain?) could overthrow FAG? I’m not disagreeing, but that’s a pretty bold claim. It also looks like it relies on LINK becoming adopted mainstream, in place of FAG?

No FAANG will be involved with web 3.0, and they’ll move onto block chain. Because if they don’t they’ll be eaten alive by competitors.

This.
Centralization of networks/data is something that is tremendously inefficient and therefore has no theoretical reason to persist in the long term. Its existence is a consequence of the fact that primitive networking protocols were not made with the functions they would eventually perform in mind, which meant they unfortunately had what we can now see as imperfect implementations, to say the least.
This combined with the explosive growth of the Internet causing demand to vastly outpace technology which led us to the Frankenstein monstrosity of Big Data and the API industry, greedily washing its hands in the flow of every data transfer operation in the world. Companies like Amazon and Facebook made their fortunes overnight almost exclusively in playing this middleman role for information by developing makeshift, prototypical application-layer solutions to fundamental problems. That power is inevitably coming off their hands just as fast as it got there, and all the NEETs who bought linkies will be the ones to have the unearned fortune of tech billionaires by indirectly washing their cum-soaked hands in that money instead. This is one of those things that will look completely obvious in retrospect, yet nolinkers will still deny it because they don't want the feeling of buying Bitcoin at $1 instead of $0.1.
