Fuck it, this thread is the last straw. I always wanted to do graphic stories. Yeah it sounds fucking gay as fuck but I've wanted to do this since I can remember and always put a mental block in my head. I kept talking to people and trying and telling them I could do the job they had open. And then asked if they knew anyone hiring for a good job. Finally a got a break and got a sales job in an office. The job sucked but I just struggled through it while looking for another job. Then kind of faked my success and image on my resume to get that job. 3 jobs later I finally got something good.

Basically loyalty is dead. Honesty won't really help you. Keep trying your ass off and faking your ability until you get a good job.
