Since 2017. Companies shilling cryptos make me uneasy. That guy's probably genuine though. Just something about it reminds me of topping cryptos

Ian Keane is literal nobody. He doesn’t even work for Oracle corporation. he has meme job at UK branch of Oracle and definitely he has no power over corporate.

Ian Keane has nothing to do with Oracle integrating Chainlink.
He says so himself in pic related, and that slide saying "Chainlink integration Q3" was made and presented by someone else.

Ian is a pretty senior figure at Oracle, but the Chainlink integration was a decision made much higher up than Ian.

I've made peace with the fact that big daddy bitcorn runs this show and until it goes up chainlink could partner with and alien civilization and it wouldn't budge $4.58

The guy behind the "Chainlink integration Q3" slide is Joost Volker.

Watch Ian Keane's presentation he did last month: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AwVdsTkt22E
He talks about a lot of interesting things, and is often very blunt on the topic of Chainlink.

>>19805873
>>19805881
Both Fernando and Ian are genuinely excited about Chainlink.
Neither had final say in Chainlink's integration.

Did you watch Ian presentation in may, he literally said LINK is to block chain, what the fire wall was to the early stage in internet.

>> No.19806170

>>19806114

Yea I watched the whole presentation live, it was probably one of the best I've seen as a general explanation of the 4th Industrial revolution and where we are headed. An excellent introduction for normies for sure.

Yes, however things weren't always this certain with LINK. Even back when I was DCAing in 2017 and early 2018 you really had to read between the lines. Even though it was clearly the direction the space as a whole needed to go, the company could have still failed potentially. Its basically just been a confirmed waiting game since Mid 2019.

I like his explanation about fat and thin protocols, this is the first time we’ve been able to invest into a protocol and we’re gonna be rich from it. Will prob create higher returns than any fucking stock.

Yes, its going to be fucking ridiculous. As a network we won't be bound by the higher limits of what current companies have reached with their MCAP valuations.

Trillions seem impossible to most people but this is truly a whole new asset class in terms of value production.

Its like what Sergey said about "What if we could have invested in HTTPS? Now that would have been cool!"
