I literally have only ever been on a bus one time and that was for a work event.

in EU cities public transit is faster and cheaper than using a car

My car got totaled and I had to use the train/ bus to get to work for a couple days while the insurance worked out what happened. I'll never do it again though, there was a bus schizo who screamed at me because my backpack strap touched him.
Fuck busses and fuck bus riders.

literally no. Im from germany. Went from lower saxony to bavaria twice. Once by train once by car and back. Train ride took 9 hours and cost me 120€. As I went by by car i was there in 6 hours by just crusing at 150kmh on the autobahn. It cost me 80€ in fuel.

Literally only true for poorfags. Only poorfag locations are conveniently reached with public transport, everything else is a hassle. Anything in suburbs, countryside etc requires a car, no matter if just up a hill, transporting your groceries, luggage or something else. Also public transport is expensive if you don't use it often, like almost 3€ per destination in Munich. Who lives in a nice place usually has no problem to afford a shitty car to go from a to b. Hell, I would rather take any credit so I don't have to use same bus as bunch of niggers and refugees. It's also a safety thing.

>9 hours
you can go from munich to berlin by train with the ICE in less than 4 hours. what kind of sardine can did you take?
also, if it cost you €80 in fuel, your overall cost was likely more than €120 considering wear down and maintenance cost of the car. and on top of that you wasted 6 hours of your life driving while you could have read a book or shitposted on /biz/ if you were taking the train

Yup, and all ultimately worthless in the end too. That's why I gave up trying and now just sit back and watch it all burn.

Sometimes it's just practical. Take London, for example. Driving a car is going to make your journey at least twice as long compared to the bus or underground. Also, sometimes the bus is actually faster than the underground, I shit you not.

Add to that all the congestion charges just to enter the city and how its impossible to find parking, why would you have a car?

bru I took the ICE but they ran late and i had to go from my small ass town to another small as town.
And i drive a W201. What wear down? I have 200k km on the clock and it never had anything replaced depite brake rotors/pads and fluids. And tires are cheap to I got mine for 30€ barely used. Just dont let dealerships scam you 200€ for an oil change

also it wasnt wasted time. I listened comfy to some audiobooks without having to look out for sandniggers trying to steal my stuff and wasnt bothered by nigglets running around screaming on the train
