I've got about $10k I want to put to use, and I'd like to get started with some sort of small business. Anyone have ideas for a relatively inexpensive service/product to get involved in? I've been thinking about buying the supplies to print t-shirts, mugs and hats with themes revolving around the small towns in my area/local cultural memes, but I'm not 100% sure that would be rewarding and it kind of feels like pumping more garbage into the world. Maybe that's the best way to make money though?

Use that to buy slav whores and pimp them out to old guys married to ugly women.

I'll add that to the list, at the very least

It wouldn’t be rewarding and you highly overestimate the niche you target with that shirt mug business.

You’ll blow through your nest egg capital tinder and end up with a bunch of shit no one wants but casually light glance over to waste your time with small talk and bartering.

Go into drop shipping with that kind of capital - you’ll put it to better use and actually might have a chance to make some capital given you research your demographic and niche target audience via Facebook ad campaigning - your Shopify store - and buying cheap ass Ali-express shit you mark up by an asinine amount and have shipped from warehouse to your customers

That feels like a great idea in 2013 or something. I was thinking more along the lines of things I can go out and do for people, or something I could make that is something people want or part of something they want

Do you want to build a business or a community?

Right now I'm primarily interested in investing what little capital I have into a small business that can generate ~$20,000+ a year. I have experience in the music and arts industries but I'm also good at figuring things out quickly. I'd love to open a garage or something completely unrelated to things I've done in the past but that feels dumb
