I've never watched or read any Eizouken, but I like that she likes milk, and same ignorance of Kaguya. Never heard of ID: Invaded.

Not much for romcoms or romance anime's, only ones I can think of that I liked were Toradora and Masamune-kun's revenge.

Fuck you I'll let you have my salt.

Today made me realise, for the first time, that the market is actually rigged. Not just unfair, but actually rigged. The green line is not allowed to fall under any circumstances, regardless of the fact that a quarter of listed companies operate only on paper and will never recover. Unemployment is reaching record highs and the federal checks to keep people from going hungry are ending. The lower class is basically dead in the water. To add insult to injury, the middle class is being eroded by mass inflation. Their savings will be worthless in a few years. The only people who profit will be those will billions in assets, and the companies who continue to issue debt they will never pay back, knowing the taxpayer will have to buy it. The American government seems to be willing to do whatever it takes, regardless of how many lives and livelihoods are ruined, to make sure the green line goes up, at least until November.

Not even sure what to do now. May just finally get 8 hours of sleep for once.

Have executed all my big plays with about 25% of my cash. Smaller and likely safer gains with about 12.5%. If stocks go up as they keep going up, then I will have enough money to stay unemployed and play on the market for 5 years. If they drop, then I still got a sizeable amount of funds for cheapies left over.

So what do I do with the remaining 62.5%? Don't want to go in hard and get screwed over by a hard crash and have NOTHING left over to buy cheapies. Don't want to leave it on the sidelines when it could be working towards getting me rich.

>low volatility
Current volatility is making it a pain to find anything worthwhile. I spent a large chunk of late Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and early Monday looking for good deals. What a pain it was but I want to get rich so I don't ever have to worry about money again which is why I kept at it.

That's about a mere 10k gain per contract if SPY fell by A LOT to $210 and volatility also dropped off amongst another assumption I have. That seems like a rather low gain considering how much the stock needs to move but a good hedge when played against my calls. 3 contracts and I could walk away with 30k + initial cash. Basically worst case scenario stocks crab and I make maximum loss. Am I missing something as I rarely deal with SPY or etfs for that matter or did I understand this properly?

what will happen is: stocks will become so volatile that financial institutions will become more and more uncomfortable with the risk. some will start to gradually cash out - finalize their gains and shift to less appeasing, but safer forms of investments. then once the bubble opens, it crashes

TQQQ is one of the best ETFs ever made and has had a meteoric return since it started (45% YoY to date)
Normally this would slow down but it will gain momentum because every sector seems dogshit and they will remember tech again. Mostly from FAANG, which is what FNGU specializes in. Midcaps are shit, smallcaps are dogshit, and bigcaps are not THE megacaps.
TMF sacrifices some gains for less maximum dropdown.
Strat is:
Green day: Buy TMF
Red day: Buy TQQQ
If you want to be more active, just buy TQQQ or SOXL if you think TQQQ has truly peaked (LOL).
FNGU is going all in on FAANG which was already responsible for most of the bullrun until now. Only memory and inertia would cause more money to be dumped in it. Which has been true so far. The very second red seems possible, the flight is immediately BACK into FAANG

Not really. Volatility will decrease making options cheaper. You can leverage as much as you want in the market at any time.

Tesla from like 2017 to 2019 moved around randomly with swings bigger than the market this year. You can always find some specific stock with crazy volatility too if you want that.

The unique thing about this year is that a lot of the driving factors of the market involved skills or subjects that most traders are clueless about like infectious disease control.

The TMF limits the maximum drawdown. And if a circuit breaker ever trips, you sell the TQQQ at whatever price you can. It'll hurt but your gains will have covered it.
A pure Bull 3x ETF is going to have to be way more proactive monitoring it. VIX is a good indicator. But you probably want more than that.

Yep it's why I'm taking advantage of the situation. If these plays work out I could be at 200k not to mention all the other plays I've got going on which are further out (could push me another 100k). This isnt even assuming a great return either, just decent.

If I can hit 200k I can be a neet for maybe 4.5 years after taxes, with 50k play money on stocks. 300k and I'd be at 7 years (cause of taxes). 7 years is a long time especially with 50k in play money and only putting in chunks.

To answer your question, TQQQ is a 3x leveraged ETF that is the non-financial components of the NASDAQ meaning its quite tech heavy. And tech is by far the only sector that has really moved in the past 15 years. So it's basically "just buy the index bro" but with a lot of the chaff removed that drag it down like manufacturing, energy, or defensive stocks like you would get from UDOW.

Good analogy. I think the problem is that a lot of tech stocks are insanely overvalued with ridiculous P/E ratios right now. There is a rebalancing that happens every day after the trading hours are done. Think of it like a "triple or nothing" bet where it tries to make back what it might have lost or go even harder on its wins.
If you don't know what beta slippage is, read up on it. The point is that TQQQ suffers the least from it because its made of the winners (tech stocks) of the winners (large caps). There is liquidity and volume that prevents it from languishing. And money printing dumped it into it after 2008 and it looks like so far its doing the same in 2020.

how about a new strain of corona virus for your bullish news of the day?

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/jun/16/beijing-coronavirus-outbreak-travel-restricted-china-severe-measures

"Dozens more coronavirus cases have emerged in Beijing in an “extremely severe” outbreak that one scientist said probably involved a more contagious strain of the virus than the outbreak that hit Wuhan last year.

Parts of the Chinese capital were fenced off on Monday night, with security checkpoints set up at residential compounds, and high-risk people – such as close contacts of diagnosed cases – prevented from leaving the city. Sports and entertainment sites were also closed.

Yang Zhanqiu, deputy director of the pathogen biology department at Wuhan University, told state media he believed the new outbreak involved a more contagious strain of the virus than the one that hit Wuhan at the beginning of the pandemic."

Eh new cancer patients are eminent. I see them younger and younger. Then on top of it everyone has to be tan now to the point it’s unhealthy, just like back in the day when women had to be so pale they took it to the extreme of unhealthy and putting lead/arsenic on their skin. Then you have the basedfaced cult who eat anything that is advertised so and isn’t actually healthy. Also drugs, tobacco, smoking and vaping is still in high demand for health problems.

I get fda trial news from them all the time in my schwab feed. Just today, some drug posted good results for head and neck cancer, and on top of that they announced that they were going to start combination treatment trials with keytruda. On Friday Merck announced that they’ve been given the go ahead to label their HPV vaccine as preventative of throat and other cancers. Something like that, future use of that label contingent on such and such results.
