First mover advantage - Binance is using the tech for their stable coin. More details here on why this is a big deal.

Privacy - with their partnership with ARPA & LINK speed, privacy and real world smartcontracts will likely need all three.LINK is creating the baselevel tech here. To be honest though, LINK and ARPA are likely the better investments.

Who - If you dig in a bit to their financial backing youll find some relatively big players investing/supporting Elrond.

Staking - Meme yea I know but returns are decent for doing practically nothing at the moment.
