All I want is main adoption of a crypto with a tangled blockchain, of some other protocol which doesn't inherently lead to re-centralization. Otherwise, what's even the fucking point?
Maybe it'll be in the aftermath of the death of Bitcoin. But the death of bitcoin would mean a huge loss in the overall crypto market. A great crypto depression.

Why can't you people see it was a distraction from gold and silver.

>muh naruto satori
>decentralized currency
>fight central bankers

It's called gold and silver. It's literally the actual correct solution to the very premise of BTC's existence.

there are around 180 currencies globally which is something like 30,000 combinations. do you think we'll keep applying bandaid fixes to address this or will the world agree on a single digital currency

ok let me know how you intend on making online purchases with a rock. are you implying there will be a gold back standardized digital currency? or that we'll just forget all of these capabilities and keep using systems devised in the 80s

Humans are not one to agree on such a singular solution for something they interact with on a daily basis. People's preferences and needs vary too much for this. And some aren't even open to considering an all encompassing solution.

The constant forking of bitcoin is a testament to it's eventual downfall and inadequacy. I think the ideal replacement would be an ethereum like platform on a tangle blockchain. At least that way we'd be able to make and adopt new currencies without overhauling the system. I guess, in that sense, we'd be agreeing on a single crypto, but it'd have to be a background system which allows the creation of what people want in their specific niche. No singular currency, but a singular system. This back-end solution is the entire business model for Shopify, and a major part of Zazzle's, and those 2 companies are Amazon's real major competitors. Why? Because it's more realistic to become the single solution everyone uses if you allow them to make their own thing on top of your system.

So, I believe the best thing to come out of crypto would be a re-centralize proof protocol that people can build there own Dapps and tokens off of.

Bitcoin isn't going anywhere.

Stability in "price" to the average Joe for an extended period of time actually lends significant credibility to the technology as a unique new asset class.
