Someone, please give me ideas for what I can do with my life.

1. Have an econ degree but with shitty grades, so I couldn't get into grad school or get a decent job
2. Managed to get odd jobs at small start ups, but they folded in less than a year after I joined so resume looks very spotty
3. I read a lot of books on economics and finance so I feel very knowledgeable about the field, but I simply can't find anyone willing to give me a chance. I have not been able to find a job in over a year
4. I've tried drop shipping and affiliate marketing before, but gave up after spending $500 on ads and only selling $50 worth of merch.

I have managed to save about $5000. How can I get some business ideas on what to do with this?

Maybe aim lower with your degree.
Get some entry level position if only to build up that resume.
Also what kind of ads? I spend +-100 a day on adds and get on average 200$-250$ sales but I HEAVILY monitor my IG and a little less aggressively my FB page. You have to put your back into it, live, eat breathe it. That's why it's better to almost believe in your product when dropshipping.
I am sure you know this but ads should be targeted to your audience in form and content.

You aren't trying hard enough to find a job or you are being too picky. Expand the type of jobs you're applying for. I'm an accountant, but started working in Compliance and I like it way more than Accounting.

Also, is that a shop. Joe isn't really that tiny is he?
