19704862 No.19704862 [Reply] [Original]

It took me almost two weeks to fully understand the sheer scale of what this token and its simple function are about to achieve in the cryptomarket. I only threw about $200 worth of ETH in it 10 days ago, and I am now considering to add $750 in it which is half of my salary this month. In the past few days we've seen a little bit of what Statera was able to accomplish with only ~$350k available in the pool, still growing as I type this post.

Adding liquidity to the pool not only helps strengthening the project, but literally protects your money even in the case of a dump - and I'm not talking about Statera alone here. If Statera goes down while the others stay static, you win. Even if all of the tokens in the pool were to go down, the value of what you've put in the pool would REMAIN THE SAME thanks to the balancer. By now, YOU LITERALLY CANNOT LOSE MONEY IF YOU DECIDE TO PUT YOUR MONEY IN THE POOL. Your gains in STA will be smaller if the tokens moons, BUT YOU ARE STILL MAKING CERTAIN, ALBEIT SMALL, POSITIVE GAINS NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS ON THE MARKET. (Unless if everything crashes but you'd have bigger things to worry about than crypto at this point.)

Now let's talk about the "optimistic" scenario in which a new crypto bullrun happens after BTC breaches the $10.5k resistance for example, going beyond and above. The balancer/Thanos would have to mainly buy STA in order to keep that share of 20% among all of the five tokens in the pool, raising the price by doing so. Combine that with the percentage of total supply that gets burned every single time a transaction occurs and how many people will join once this hit a CEX, I am not exaggerating when I say that $100 per token by the end of Q2-Q3 2021 is actually a possibility.

Statera is basically the answer to the "crypto is too volatile" problem, but also keeps the massive crypto gains factor. Nobody can lose as the whole program cannot be tampered with now and is only getting stronger.

Don't miss that chance.

Anon, only true if they had a fiat pegg'd token in there. Let's say you have an equal share of 20% each of 5 tokens. if the overall $usd value goes down of those 5 tokens your USD value goes down, plus all txn fees trying to balance on the way down in USD value. Read a little more OP, I think you close to understanding it.

I’ve been quietly watching this. I got in early, as in, right away. Even at 4c I turned $1100 into 5k. I haven’t sold. I’m not even going to remove my intial investment, I did the maths. People can say what they want, I think the devs had a really great idea and executed it without realising just how good an idea it is. It’s gotten much bigger much quicker than they thought it would and where I initially thought I’d be lucky to hit $1 on this, I’m not even considering selling at $1 now. This is a long term hold and I really do think this could go $100 plus.

Pretty much. If you've paid attention to any of the top wallets over the last week you'll notice the number of millionaires have gone way past the top 10 now, the growth of the top 15-50 holders are the most noticeable. Whales love crabbing season because they can set the prices at almost no risk, but it fucks the rest of us who can't get a significant return without the risk of swinging 50% our stack just to get it eaten up by a whale immediately. Hoping the audit + centralized exchange will bring in enough new money that it's too risky for them to keep swinging. There is no selloff though, which is a good sign. Just accumulating... on wallets that have already taken their initial out and often 30+ ETH profit. They are not in any rush to sell any time soon.

That may be so, but at this stage it actually doesn’t matter they didn’t invent it.

The idea of combining the two is really clever, and it’s grown way beyond what I ever expected when I threw my few ETH in an hoped for the best. This is the S&P 500 for crypto. It’s the first one of its kind and the pool is getting larger every day.

They will keep trying this as long as it's profitable sadly. The margins are getting tighter and tighter every day for the 4-6c crab but eventually they are going to be paying more on uniswap + gas fees so while they'll give it up and let it go to 7-8c naturally there will be more shakeouts like this until audit / new exchanges = volume they can't control without risk. Expect one more major dip as 10c entry wallets take their initial out and some profit before 20c but once it hits exchanges it is going to be completely out of control of anyone as nobody has enough sta to influence the price more than 4% themselves.

General consensus is that it is best to pool after a pump. The gas fee thing was an issue that only happened once in a while, and it was fixed. I bought BPT using uniswap and I didn't have any slippage, but I didn't run the numbers. Yes, the pool will increase if you buy BPT on Uniswap

What will I do with you guys? Haven't you learned your lesson by now? Look at the cold hard reality for one second here. How many times will you need to be betrayed and lied to before you realize that this token isn't going anywhere? This time around, I'm not baiting or fudding. This is legitimate concern I'm willing to show for fellow /biz/nessmen. I admit that I was myself deeply invested in STA, because the idea, even if poorly implemented could really have shaken cryptocurrency and more specifically the psychological perception people have of it and DeFi in general. STA being an index fund inside this godforsaken and highly volatile market is undoubtedly a strong selling point for seasoned investors.

Selling point that you failed to convey. Why? Because first of all, the dev team is lacking the proper communication skills and network to truly advertise the value behind the project. Otherwise, the generous anon who found out about it wouldn't have had to go so low as to advertise it as a money printing machine. Second, because it doesn't have its place. I'm not saying that there is no use case. It's that the people in crypto aren't looking for guaranteed small gains over time. You are basically trying to convince gamblers to leave their greed behind and contribute to a pool in order to help make the project grow. How many do you think are still holding their tokens and haven't even put 0.0001 STA or ETH in order to maximize their potential gains? Poor Johnathan.
Third, as with all assets in crypto, it does look like a ponzi scheme. On top of that, despite its risk aware investor friendly appearance, you are betting on the success of not one but FIVE cryptocurrencies to pump the value up. And as of right now, the market is not in a good state. But BTC, ETH and Link are, pathetically slowly still, recovering. The same cannot be said for Statera..

For all of you early whales who are still in profit. Make use of the $355k liquidity while there's still time left.
