Unlike most DAO's out there, the DMMDAO already has a working product and bringing in real revenue. The way the DMG public sale it's set-up, it might take days for of all tokens to complete sell out, unless demand for the public sales is super high. The pre-sale took 1.5 weeks to sell out and it was a $2million round (10million tokens). The public sale round will require $6.5million (15million tokens to completely sell out, so it might take a little while for all coins to sell.

The interesting thing is there's going to be 2 different locations to purchase the DMG token during the public sale, The defimoneymarket.com portal and the mesa.eth.link exchange. Both locations will have 3 pairs to purchase DMG tokens: ETH, DAI, USDC.

There's going to time where the price of the DMG token in ETH is more expensive on the DMM site compared to mesa.eth.link (you can replace ETH with DAI/USDC).

You'll have to check both sites and all 3 purchasing pairs to see which options gives you the best bang for your buck. There's going to be arbitrage opportunities for those who are paying attention and willing to pay the most gas.

Users deposit Ethereum, DAI, or USDC into the DMMDAO protocol and earn 6.25% APY (users receive mAssets in return which earn interest, similar to Compound cTokens). The money deposited into the protocol can be used for real world loans to small-medium sized enterprises and they pay a certain amount of interest for these loans The enterprises put up automobiles for collateral (thinks businesses who need capital and have a lot of automobiles...and soon aviation, real estate.etc). The loan amount to the borrower is a lot lower than the collateral they put up just in case the borrower defaults. The interest received from the loans goes back to the users who deposited ETH, DAI or USDC (6.25% APY) and the rest goes to the DMMDAO (currently 5.5% APY).

There's more to it if you interested in doing some reading. There's a google doc that keeps getting posted around here with a lot more information on the DMG token and the project over.
