Lost 90% of my portfolio. Thinking about suicide is the answer.

Any advice from other people who lost their portfolio's?

I lost it by trying to double, triple, quadrouple down on a failing option and trying to fix it.

Most addicts universally say that losing everything took the pain away...it removes the urge to "fix the situation". As long as the 10% remains, lots of addicts will be tortured by thoughts of what they lost and how they could fix it.

Take the 10% out and spend it on something. No use having that around to remind you.

Then the healing can begin and you will get over it. You will find peace with it and accept it in time....look man I went bankrupt before because of a confluence of events all hitting same time (out of work, car broke, divorce, etc).

It happens to a huge percentage of people.

Listen to this guy OP! I went from 3k to $400k in the 2017 crypto bullrun. I lost everything by September 2018 trying to make up for my losses by doubling and chasing and taking bigger and bigger risks. I did end up spending 65k of the 400k but by September 2018 I literally had 2k left. It's now 2020 and I am fully over it, although the first 6-8 months were torture and depressing and a lot of soul searching. I routinely took shrooms, ate edibles, micro-dosed LSD, and isolated myself so I could understand why I did what I did to lose all that money. I learned so much about myself and all the ways a part of my psyche was sabotaging my progress and my success. I learned who I could trust and who was happy for me to fail and fall flat on my face. I learned to humble myself and destroy my ego. Some months later I ended up learning a new skill online and ended up making money freelancing as well as being an uber driver. By early 2020 I had about 5k saved up and all my debt paid off and I decided to try to get back into crypto once again, this time with a principled and disciplined approach. As well as no lofty goals of making millions of dollars. Instead, I was prepared to lose it all the moment I converted my fresh fiat to BTC. And since then I have 8x'd my money. And the best part is I'm doing it disciplined. No all-in shoves, no emotional trading, I walk away easily if I get superstitious, I always hedge, I always look at the negative outcome first and plan around it. Never have I been so easily able to sit on the sidelines watching a coin pump, pump, and pump without feeling an ounce of fomo for selling at a 25% profit. In 2017 this would have killed me and now it's a piece of work. Most successful traders have tons of experience and time in the market. You have to learn a lot about yourself AND more importantly, you have to fix all your issues as they come.

Obviously you should buy 1000 LINK and then open a leveraged position on LINK with the other 6K at 10x but only take a position of about 1500 to 2000 so you can withstand some swings.

If that fails rope yourself but if you wait at least 5 years you won't have to work anymore. I guess depends on how long you can wait, but it sounds like you are impatient. Don't try and swing the 1000 LINK either you are clearly not equipped for that.
