The ramifications of this are too big for a sudden crash. Maybe stagnation or a slow decline if another currency becomes a more powerful alternative, but the dollar is the entire world's reserve currency. A crash in the dollar would affect every country on Earth, and disproportionately the smaller countries that don't have the development or labor force to prop themselves up while still being tied to the dollar.
