It is just my observation that if this was a genuine attack against the dark, evil (whatever you call it), it would yield more dramatic fighting and resistance and we would see much more serious character in all of this

At the moment I just have this notion, or a feeling, of an almost pre-fixed narrative that is ushering just something much more darker disguised as something positive and suddenly 20-30 years down the line we later that we were deceived even harder by some new system etc.
