"The website, although playful, is a great step forward for the Ethereum community because it demonstrates the possibility of being able to use the Ethereum blockchain also for the front-end code files, without having to enter them in a distributed way through IPFS or Swarm, or on centralized servers.

This resource allows users' browsers who request the web page to download the code directly from the blockchain, reducing the possibility of manipulation, scam or censorship.

This approach opens the scenario to a new wave of decentralized applications that can work without the help of a non-anonymous organization that orchestrates the connection and holds the rights to modify the front-end code."

Funny you should say scam, as this article mentions, the DFO protocol can help to prevent scams! You can think of it as a second-layer that provides security, trustless as it is completely on-chain and verifiable. Scammy proposals would never pass muster and approval.

In the status quo, you need to pay an auditing team to verify a code is secure before releasing an application on Ethereum. Even these auditing firms aren't perfect, as we've seen recently the tBTC fiasco. The team launched a live app (after an audit) and a critical flaw collapsed the entire project, several BTC had to be dragged out of the smoldering pile.

It happens, and it is a growing pain for all new apps to find bugs, but it was extremely expensive! DFOhub can solve for these kinds of issues, saving a lot of money and headaches for developers.

OP is quoting them putting the front end hosting of a website on-chain... A decentralized, censor-proof, permanent form of webhosting... Do you not understand how important this is? And this isn't hypothetical anon, the product actually fucking works. Do you know how project is that is both useful AND functional? You can try it yourself if you have doubts

Here is an explanation of how they use ROBE to cut web 2.0 code into NFT's which are hosted on chain using DFOhub

You are watching a literal revolution in tech, if you can't see that you have no business being in crypto

Important to note, a web3 front end can host any file type converted into and NFT and the ROBE deployer can store ever file on-chain. Entire databases are going to be stored on-chain along with the applications that use them, upgradable and manageable like lego blocks in the smart contract.

This makes them unstoppable applications, truly decentralized on Ethereum completely saved on-chain with no need for a centralized server like AWS etc.
