Unemployment Pa state
For how many weeks your supposed to get $600, plus your regular unemployment rate. I been waiting almost 3 months and still nothing, and when trying to call the state office, the phone is always always busy, and their chat does not work either because you always get the message “please try again later “ Should I get a lawyer or call the governor I don’t know what to do, please help me /biz

PA is one of the shittier states in welfare and unemployment benefits/aid to begin with its actually setup to deter you from using their services/benefits you should move to a state like MN or Cali or Jew york as it’s ridiculously easy to get the aid there.
there was some anon a few years back on biz that made a list of the best states for neeting it and i wish i saved it.

I was in an almost identical situation in my state, Alabama.
I was furloughed until further notice due to the COVID meme and I had been waiting like 6 going on 7 weeks for anything with bills continually stacking up. Eventually I learned ADOL had rented a stadium complex to deal with unemployment cases, so I drove to the capital, Montgomery, which is like 3 hours from my city, got there super early and waited for like 5 hours in line. But after I got it sorted out with the lady, I got paid next week plus the back pay so it was worth it. Don’t know is similar options exist in your state, but check the fb page for additional info. I didn’t really get far emailing and calling.

It ends on july 31st and you should get it for any week you were eligible for UE in that time period. You should theoretically get retroactive but idk whats up with PA. I live in fucking louisiana and got my shit figured out immediately, hard to believe less backwater states are fucking it up more.

These people literally called my employer and withheld my unemployment for two weeks randomly. They then said I owed them 32 dollars which I paid since I cant get them to just take it out of my next payment. They did all of that just for 32 dollars and tons of people still haven't gotten their benefits yet. PA is a weird state man.
