Staking is almost never profitable. It's not even a sustainable emission model. The only time when Staking is profitable is when the coin is already pumping. If demand doesn't rise, then your stake is basically just inflation, it doesn't give you much (if any) value. NEO is the best answer, but the returns are small enough that it doesn't fuck over the economics. Also, you stake GAS, not NEO, meaning staking doesn't get fuck the supply
