Even more so if Nano is easily accessible to newbies and normies, or ends up being accepted at any significant retail level. The two events are more likely happen together as well. They can't. Many are forks or ERC-20 tokens. Only several projects in the space use their own unique technology and systems. Out of those only a few are payment oriented. The only real competition to NANO is IOTA, and IOTA is still struggling to perform in a decentralized manner.

So it is more or less a hype game right now. But hype is paper thin, and will eventually erode. leaving the concrete projects that solve real world use cases left.

Don't be surprised if only a handful of crypto survives, and absorbs the marketcap of everything else in the process.
