Are they going to deploy agents at a massive scale door to door to repeat that process with everyone who transferred monero off an exchange?

At a certain point that we've probably already reached, the logistics required to pinpoint who has what are overwhelming. They might pull an FDR and demand that everyone with monero declares their holdings, but what percentage of a community focused on privacy and subverting institutional authority are going to comply with that?
