We went from 7k sats to over 11k sats in a very short amount of time, with 10% being gained every day. If this is the same whale, I would expect a similar strategy. Yea I ended up selling off the rest of my non nano holdings. 100% in at this point. I have about 70k. Was hoping to reach 133k so I could self host a node without needing anyone to delegate their nano my way, but either way 70k is a shit ton. My only regret is missing the link train... which I really shouldn't have, as I was given multiple signs by the universe... but then again I likely had a lot more initial investment capital than most here, so if anything it merely evened the odds out a bit. there is proof of work involved for the sending device. If the network becomes saturated with transactions it increases the pow difficulty and requires a pinch of electricity to generate. Why does there need to be one? The network is already hosted by nodes that cost maybe $5 a month. If companies intend to use nano, it would also be in their best interest to host nodes as well, even for the simple sake of guarantying uptime for their ecosystem.

I liken it to internet websites. Most sites on the net, and especially so with the old internet had no economic incentive. Many today do, however it is an indirect incentive. I can see nodes being provided for both reasons really. And since the network is so cheap to keep up, it isn't going to be anything more than what I just gave away in this thread.
