i was around when it was first shilled a couple weeks into may and dismissed it as a dumb ghost knockoff because my brain is a perfect sphere. why would i buy in now? i read through their site, but that doesn’t explain why i would buy something that just shot up to $0.50.

It's already pumped though.

i guess i’m really asking if there’s any reason why it would pump more, like any upcoming updates.

Pumped on low liquidity, theoretically I am sitting at 50X , but if I sell, don't even get 10X

I'm right here with you. While I doubt the smoothness of your brain there are some logical reasons to be skeptical in this projects seemingly sudden explosion. I finally caved and bought in a small amount a few days ago and have dca'd more since the token lockup. Couple reasons that make me comfy about this decision:
1) This didn't come out of nowhere. Go to their youtube, just seatch DFOhub. Watch the two videos from 6 months ago. The panel discussion on the stage. tl;dw: these are not scammers and have been involved in developing fintech software for years. Look up the founders and start digging in to their medium articles... you've got plenty of rabbit holes.
2) Since the new website launch, you can now go to the bottom right and see everyone involved in the R & D team faces/names in full display. Eth Italy, Lawyer, Venture Capitalist connections??? Btw on the website > strategy >
"11,600,000 (27.6%): These funds are locked, and will be used to manage—via voting—the governance risks during the development of DFOhub 1.0, and to access funds from VCs."
>They set up a way to make money on this and obviously these lawyers/investors/businessmen attached to the project at least seem to think so.
Or maybe they just think it's a neat software idea. I know I do.
