Bitcoin mining difficulty adjusted today 12:30 UTC with -9.29%. This is the eight largest negative adjustment in BTC history. The previous adjustment was -6.00% in May.

The only time we saw multiple negative adjustments of this size was during the end of 2018 and in 2011 - 2013.

Bitcoin's difficulty is designed to adjust every 2016 blocks and is based on changes in the network's hashrate. If the hashrate goes up, difficulty will go up and vice versa.

Ofc, all the non-chink miners got ousted by the last halving, it have been a fucking bloodbath, mining is only profitable if you have the antminer S19 and sub 10c/Kwh.
Even chink farms aren't that profitable anymore.
