It is literally and unironically the same as having loads of news feeds / articles, graphs, price trackers etc on your monitor, just a particular user interface and it's all updated instantly. It was a big deal back in the days when people didn't have good internet and PCs but Bloomberg terminal is completely irrelevant now. I find it mind-blowing that they still charge what, like 25k a year for it still? 'Boomer shit' is a meme but this is the very definition of it.

The only reason to get these are the exclusive job offers they post on the jobs board in terminal. Also, networking with other users in terminal is extremely beneficial.

It’s worth it if you take advantage of the social features desu. And you gets news instantly and are able to trade instantly. If you get a 0.000001 second edge, that may be a lot of money to you.
