Not sure if anyone still has pastas lying around but:
stateratoken.com

What is statera?
deflationatory token backed by a balancer pool index fund. It burns 1% on any transaction, and the pool needs to keep the 5 coins balance at 20% at all times. It constantly looks for arbitrage opportunities so swing trading against a bot is an excellent opportunity to get rekt.

Launched 3 days ago, total supply from 101M is down to 95.7M with almost 600 holders doubled since yesterday.

Where can I see the pool?
stateratoken.com > portfolio

Trade only on uniswap v1. v2 is still not working correctly with their token. Uniswap v2 volume and liquidity info is also not accurate atm because this tokens only trades on v1.

The token is also completely trustless now and anyone can add liquidity to the pool. It is out of devs control, so no, they can not dump on you.

some people have reported having problems with adding liquidity to it, try to use this link instead:
https://noproxy.pools.balancer.exchange
Note that you need atleast 2 of the 5 tokens to be able to add liquidity to it. it is not necessary to do, you can also just buy the token and hold it like any other token.

Do I hold STA or add liquidity to the pool? Pro/Cons?
If you don't know how pools work read this for basic understanding of pools:

post dump and crabbing downwards

>> No.19460808

Ok faggots listen up

>Get STA
>Pool your STA

The balancer will take the liquidity in the pool and match it up with the BTC LINK ETH and SNX. If the price of those go up, you get more STA. If the price of those go down, it buys your STA to balance it out (20% across the board).

>Once you reach your personal target (say, $0.1), start selling 1% of your holdings from your pool.

Don't withdraw your entire pool to do this, leave it as is. This way you don't upset the balancer and get rekt when whales try to dump.

>Sell for 50 days in a row, 1% a day
>With 50% STA remaining in the pool along with whatever other tokens you've accumulated due to the balancer, leave it and accumulate more until you reach your initial investment
>Rinse and repeat once you reach your next PT

The retards and pajeets that try to dump in one big swoop will get eaten up real quick. It's only a three day old project, it will swing and will be extremely volatile, but if you have iron hands you'll come out on top.

Hey guys. I asked about the impermanent losses in the discord and got a response.
Question:
I've read your Medium posts. I seems to me that adding to a liquidity pool is less advantageous than just holding your tokens if we are headed for a bull crypto market. Am I wrong? You would only add liquidity to the pool if you believe prices are going to hover around for a while. Is that it?

Answer:
Impermanent losses are the losses you get when 1 of the the 2 tokens has a price growth in comparison to the other, as you would be selling the in price growing token for the one relatively losing (to remain your 50/50 for example). You do however get trading fees. Thus, once prices come together again (the devaluating token increases in price again) you remain with the profit of trading fees. The costs of volatility are thus called impermanent losses as they would disappear once prices come back to the prices you had when setting up the pool/joining one.
Is how I understand it, please correct me if wrong.

Answer2: It depends on what you mean by "bull market." If you put ETH and DAI in a pool, and ETH enters a bull market, then yes, you would have been better off just holding ETH. But if you put two tokens in a pool that are more closely price-correlated, like ETH and some tokenized BTC, then when crypto enters a bull market the prices both rise, and you only lose if one rises much faster than the other. It's all about the relative price between two tokens in a pool, not their USD prices.

Ok, now let's take an example.
In the beginning, all of the 5 tokens were worth $1000, so the pool size was $5000.

Now, say all other 4 tokens remained at their old value ($1000 / token), but STA did a x10, so STA value in pool is now worth $10,000.

That's much more than 20% of the pool, so the balancer must balance it out.
Note that now the pool size is $10,000 (STA) + $4000 (other 4 tokens) = $14,000.

So, to balance it out, each token should now have value of $14,000 / 5 = $2800.

To reach this goal, the balancer must sell the excess STA, and that would be $10,000 (current worth of STA) - $2800 (the new target worth of STA) = $7200.

The balancer (Thanos) sells the excess on various exchanges to which it has a trading bot interface to. Currently, it's only Uniswap.
Note that by selling, it performs transactions, and thus burns tokens, so the supply also decreases!

So, now that the balancer has sold the excess STA, it obtained $7200 dollars (say, in DAI coins).

Now, to balance out the other 4 tokens, it must buy $7200 / 4 = $1800 worth of each token.

So, it buys $1800 worth of ETH, $1800 worth of LINK, etc.

In the end, it's all balanced at 20% for each token - all 5 tokens are now worth $2800 dollars each!
And the total pool size remained at $14,000 dollars - so no value was lost!
Plus, you also get the trading fees, which are added to the pool!

That's the magic of the balance pools.
