Imagine how retarded Sears in particular feels. Their whole big name came from having their catalogue and mail-to-order products. How fucking stupid do you think those niggers feel?

About as stupid as people who love boomer dress up games and actually working in an office feel when they will be made obsolete

I was 15 and jerking off to low res still pics that took longer to load than a 10 minute vid does today. Sometimes you'd have to just finish to her tits before the pic even fully loaded, because who has that type of time.
You guys will never know how good I truly had it.

People underestimate the rate of technological change

Blockbuster video refused to buy netflix for a few million because at the time video streaming speeds were too slow. A few years later they were out of business.

Technological change is a steam train and alot of these legacy businesses and professions are tied to the tracks.

Just imagine what Chainlink is going to do once it reaches peak adoption. It's only 5 or 10 years away.

I remember. stoked when lime wire was new and pirating music became a thing, but you had to download like 3 or 4 rar files to piece together a single song. half the shit you downloaded was just audio of some scammer in a Bill Clinton voice saying "i did not have sex with that woman". was truly the greatest time to be alive.

The ironic thing is that if Sears had reorganized their company and upgraded their website and shipping infrastructure, they could have actually been a competitor to Amazon. Sears had a giant mail-order catalog, and Amazon is basically the same thing but online. Sears had shitty, old management and didn't wanna move with the times. If all of the proper blocks had fallen into place, they could have probably bought Amazon out years ago before they were a threat.
