How’d you guys decide on what exchange you use? I’m from Australia I was wondering if I should use an Australian based exchange or find a overseas more foreign one. Also Is there a way to calculate slippage on your trades and compare with other exchanges?

Any help greatly appreciated

for me it's coinmetro
you have to go through kyc, but it's fully regulated
fees are super low, you can even make money on trades (i have the highest tier and when i am the maker i get 0% fee and get paid a rebate in xcm)

Swyftx. I've withdrawn to BSB and random wallets. Android app. Fees and exchange rates need to be factored in. But there are certainly some good ones out there.

I’d go with nauticus, qash and coinmetro killer.

Honestly it depends on the shitcoins you want to buy. For lower caps and moonshots you likely need a few exchanges to be ready to pounce. If your just looking at buying a top 200 coin, holding and aren’t overly fussed about fees probably an Aussie exchange like coin spot is the go.

I don’t know if you Aussies have your own exchanges, but I’d forget these other low volume pajeet exchanges and stick with Coinbase and Binance

For me it was Gemini even though I don't use it because I think BTC is a scam with zero utility and the transaction fees are a joke.
Coinbase is fucking retarded and couldn't get my account open. Gemini did it in like an hour and I can DCA which is neat.

coinspot is Australian and decent.
Aus consumer protection is pretty good if they fuck up and lose anything not in my offline wallet.

I use cointree.

Good customer service. I even forgot the reference number for a deposit once and they helped to sort it out. Would recommend.

Speaking of exchanges, I'm in the US, signed up for Binance, got the emails about it shutting down for US customers, but never moved my shit off. Still using the old Binance app on my phone

What happens now?
