>play vidya at night
>wake up today
>bank holiday, so no work
>drinking coffee, browsing internet

I saw an article about eSports being popular and rapidly increasing in popularity. I heard someone at work openly talk about being a "gamer". I used to play gigantic amounts of videogames when I was young but I was disgusted. Is this what being an old and conservative gay person feels like when they see degenerate LGBTQHIV+ parades?

I feel so pathetic for being on 4chan as a near 30 year old. 6 to 8 years ago I thought 4chan was so cool. The memes are still incredible but I can't relate to the people on here. There was a topic on /lit/ that asked about subscribing to the Economist. But the worst is people on /lit/ who think continental philosophy is worthwhile. It's a scam, you dolts.

The videogame I'm playing isn't finished yet and I've played it for over 70 hours.

I felt so fat after my binge yesterday. I was walking around in the sun feeling fat. I have said before that no fat person can be sad in a truly profound way and I believe it. I really think that losing 5 to 7 kg would make my life pure kino.

Today and yesterday remind me of being NEET in the summer. I'm eating at 12:51 pm. I will waste time until around 5 or 6, when I'll go for a walk. In the past it was a drive. Maybe I'd drive earlier and waste time by getting a coffee from a drive thru and drinking it while browsing 4chan or reading in the car. I didn't realise at the time how extravagant I was being.

i quit eating chips except on the weekends a couple of weeks ago and already lost over 10 pounds. honestly just cutting out junk food and drinking milk and water instead of soda does a lot, and portion control. you can still eat stuff you like, just eat less of it.

I grew out of videogames this year (20yo) it was almost a revelation, I realized they weren't giving me real enjoyment but just a temporary dopamine rush that lead to nothing when the match finished.
I literally spent 1500h on one videogame I was obsessed with before I stopped... In 1500h I could have literally done anything.
Productive hobbies (where you create something) are much more rewarding.
I got into gardening and mycology. It's very interesting and gives you real world skills and results.

OP it's ok to enjoy vidya, but if you slowly start doing other stuff along with vidya you'll realize there are much better hobbies. gl
