>get family to apply for $2,000/month CERB benefits
>invest the $6000 per month
>cash out and repay the CRA prior to Dec 31, 2020 to avoid the CERB appearing on their T4 tax forms
>keep the profit
What's stopping someone from doing this? Seems like an interest free loan form the government. Any site I find says that the CRA is going to focus on ust getting their money back and not on penalizing "fraudulent" claims. They toss the word fraud around but nowhere on any government site does it actually state applying for the CERB when you don't qualify is fraud.

You really think they're going to let you off with no interest if you weren't actually eligible?

As long as you pay it back before, there is literally no problem with this.

I know people who are going to do with the 40k business loan
