UPTIME is what matters most. that means they are signing every block and thereby getting rewards for every block. The APR is fucked but should clear up over time. What you need to watch out for there is that they are staking enough to make sure they always get elected, without staking too much per slot such that they don't get rewarded for a portion of their stake. So.. look at the smartstake dash to make sure they are signing 100% of blocks consistnetly, then make sure they aren't staking too far above the "effective stake".
