Is the true redpill about making it, the fact that you need to make rich friends? Is it not better to have a friend who owns a yacht, than to own one yourself? Why spend any $ on luxuries when you can just make friends with people who will let you use their own luxury items for free?

Not so much about having stuff in common, its more the resentment and awkwardness that comes from having not rich/ poor friends.

Not talking about being a cunt and flashing cash 24.7, but things like say, a ski holiday or something, or they may expect you to pickup the tab after a few rounds (Say 140 quid). No problem once or twice off, but if its consistent thats bound to breed envy.

I guess finding poeple you get on with of a same financial status is good, can discuss future ideas and plans, and advise each other. You're not competing against each other, but you're not resenting the other either.

I think, outside of some parts of biz, if you were give the average Joe a fuck tonne of money, they either blow it all, or try to keep up with the upper class joneses.

Relationships are a massive fundamental in happiness though.
