Hello gentlemen,
I humbly come to you genuinely looking for advice.
I know /biz is a sea of faggotry but i have also witnessed some fine minds interacting and exchanging ideas. Hopefully, i'll come out of this discussion with a hint of a fresh perspective, for which i would be extremely grateful. I know most of you will probably call larp, but i'm just a simple guy looking for bits of wisdom wherever he can think it could be found.
One could say that, on a relative scale, i made it. I worked my ass off for the last 13 years and last year i've managed to sell the business i've built from the ground up for a hefty sum of money (my share would amount to EUR 2.5mil). It's been bumpy (and humbling) as fuck. I am not fuck you money wealthy, nor i wish to be, but i do enjoy a bit of basic confort, safety and long lasting peace of mind. Which doesn't come cheap.
Current holdings amount to:
-Own home, fully paid for - cost 400K, currently worth around 600K
-2 properties in a mountain resort that i rent to tourists (worth around 900K - in need of some refurbishing)
-EUR 1.12 mil crispy cash in the bank
-basically another 1.5 mil on its way next year in may (installment)
-quite a bit of land
-2.8 BTC, 40 eth, 1K linkies (for shits and gigs)

For a bit of context, i am 36, happily married, have a 3 yo son that is the light of my life.
I hate city life so i moved to a chilled out mountain village with forest trails starting in my back yard.
Tourism was just a semi-passive side business and has been good up until now (netting around 50K per year), but the 2 buildings need around 200K investment that i had planned for this year. That would have also bumped up earnings considerably. Needles to say the whole covid shitstorm has me pondering the opportunity cost. I am considering selling at least one of the properties (the demand is still surprisingly high on the market as the supply in the area is very limited) just to avoid the hassle of renovating shit.
I'm coming to you fine gentlemen looking for some group wisdom. Even though i was fairly well off in the last decade, i've never had this kind of cash at my whole disposal. So now i'm a bit overwhelmed.
My expenses are fairly low as i drive a cheap-ish reliable car, my home is built to passive-house standard (so very low bills), wife is a wholesome beautiful being that doesn't enjoy the frivolous lifestyle even though we could probably afford it - for a while. We've overdone traveling and we've learned to enjoy simpler, more local adventures, so no $30K maldives vacations for us either.
What would YOU fine gentlemen do in this situation to ensure a stress free life? How would you diversify and hedge?
How would you manage the cash? Would you sit on it? Invest in the markets? Lump sum or trickle? Grab some property? Open some laidback business? Angel investing in some up and coming domain?
Share some ideas and advice, and you will be blessed nine thousandfold!
Many thanks, here's to you!

Sounds like you're set. No point in asking a bunch of Robinhood traders with $1000 in their account and a portfolio of worthless shitcoins for the next big move. Just keep doing what you're doing and don't fuck it up.

This, I’d speculate on what I’d do in said scenario but I’m literally said RH poorfag, though I have $4000 in my RH account.

You’ve already made it OP, though I’d say you’re sitting on too much cash given the inevitable inflation that’s on the way.

Keep most of your wealth in gold because negative rates will take you in the ass. Keep the crypto stack and also invest a bit in XRP. Goodluck in maintaining your wealth! And remember ; the global financial crash will get worse and a new system needs to replace our current one. Gold value will maintain! Goodluck.

You already made it - I'd have no reason to own more than 1 property and have the rest of my net in a stock which pays me dividends.
