Ok so I bought in only because of schizo posts but heres my understanding... Xrp is used as "on demand liquidity" utility. That is if you want to send 1MM $ you need to have 1MM $ worth of xrp. Currently there's only 9B $ worth of coins in circulations which is more than enough to support current needs. However, if this becomes standard (swift), and all banks start using, the market cap of xrp x1000.

Again I am probably wrong, but I really like schizo posts.

>You didn't refute what I said
Actually I did. You said big companies aren't using XRP, and I showed you multiple examples which proved you wrong. Do you think "NO THAT DOESN'T COUNT IT'S A BOOMER BUZZWORD CORP" Is an actual argument? That's fucking hilarious. Also interesting how you try to act like there's "controversy" within Ripple Labs, but you don't actually show any evidence of this.

Furthermore, if existing ACHs were just going to make their own system, why do they keep expanding partnerships with XRP? Why do legacy systems like SWIFT even exist in the first place? Why did the banks allow SWIFT to exist when they could just "make their own shit" like you're saying? Also funny how you think a company can just poof a complex system like this out of their asses with no problems.

This is important. In order for banks to "do their own thing" when it comes to moving huge sums of money near instantly, they would need to sink billions into building the infrastructure to get it running. Not to mention the fact that they would have to engineer it to work with every single bank and central bank who decided to "do their own thing" in disparate ways. Banks and central banks are going to want an independent network that can be trusted by all and remain neutral.

Ripple is a private company that established a worldwide network that integrates with what banks and central banks already have, and is in the process of being proved. It checks all the marks of being trustworthy, effective, established, and neutral. Nothing else even comes close.
