I’m having a hard time asking this since I can’t find the word for it, but how do I get “it” back? We’ve all felt “it” before, like the drive, determination, and ambition to get money and success. I’m trying to get this drive again, but I lost it after 6 years of wagecucking.

This lockdown has been more than mental, nearly ever single capital good I have broke: car, computer, phone, air conditioning, refrigerator, you name it. On top of all this.

How do I get my drive and ambition back? At this point I just want to vote communist and get gibs. I’ve struggled enough. And I know it only gets worse.

8 ball of cocaine and a game of russian roullette with yourself. 1 in 6 chance you die and your adrenaline will be out of this world. This will motivate you somehow just trust me

OP I feel ya. I'm starting to think that "it" was just a dopamine hit. I've massively downgraded my goals and expectations because of lockdown, not because I don't think I can't achieve them, but because I'm not sure if I even want them.

It has given me that space to realise that I'm happy where I'm at.

This will be the great undoing for retail and hospitality imo, the veil has been lifted on just how much of our happiness has been linked to empty consumerism.

I'm not being a redfag about this either, my money comes from people believing in the retail/hospitality meme. But I can see what's going on too. Consumerism relies on continuous momentum and we have slammed the brakes on here in an unprecedented fashion. A lot of people like you are waking up and finding you don't have "it" because you don't want "it" anymore.

Damn. This is a pretty good red pill. What’s the point of working if you find no happiness in it or cannot spend it on anything to make you happy?

bumping for interest. currently in the same boat as OP. honestly thinking that while i have depression, i wont be able to get "it" back

Yeah, I'm aware I'm redpilling against myself here. But, it really does feel like that's the way it's gonna go. That, and I can't really find a word other than, momentum, is gone. And retail relies on momentum. That's why there are Spring/Summer collections, or Christmas parties, or Mother's Day or 4th of July... they're all arbitrary points on the calendar to increase retail spends.

That momentum, that age old force that drive the whole thing forward? Gone.

Good. It needs to die. Fuck a return to normal or going back. Our economic soul is moribund. Western society has cucked itself. Empty consumerism is cancerous. Gather yourself and start to move forward in your own direction from your and your familes own needs now. And you might need TRT at age 36.

You have to leave the system. Society and it’s infrastructure has been molded and designed to drain your wallet and your soul. They have it down to a science ffs. Do it soon or you will become the shell that every wagie that gives up on life becomes
