How do you stay calm when making investment decision? I feel like I'm too emotional sometimes

You've come to the right place.
Half of /biz/ only invests emotionally.
That's how come our motto is "buy high, sell low."

if you feel any emotion at all, thats your body's way of telling you your size is too big

recognize that you are experiencing an emotion and do not act in such a scenario, its not rocket science

trust in analysis over hype, look at the numbers always

crypto or stock? or another investment decision, what are you currently trying to decide?

You get used to it, at the start hundred dollar moves worried/excited me, now needs to move multiple thousands before I feel anything.

The best thing you can do is, set your exit points, one for it going lower, and one for when you plan to start taking profit. Step away and go do something else, play a video game or work on a personal project.

What's that saying? Don't gamble what you can't afford to lose. Something like that right? To me it's like a game, I still take it seriously of course, but it doesn't matter to me if I win or lose. Any win is just a nice bonus and any loss sucks but whatever. Don't bite off more than you can chew and you'll be fine.

You're probably investing too much money then. Only invest what you are willing to lose, and have a plan in mind. Someone who just mindlessly invests all their money without doing research is going to get rekt.
