Can someone explain to me how trading works on these coin exchanges, specifically uniswap. I can swap my coins, and if i'm swapping ETH for a pajeet coin like ESH it gives me huge slippage warning(30%+) the only way that this could make sense would be if their was a bid/ask right? but I don't see how to make a bid/ask, or look at level 2 data. Do I have this wrong or?

High slippage is due to low liquidity, you are trying to buy too many at once. Buy in smaller batches and wait for liqudity provider to refill the pool

LOOK at the volume of a coin. Low volume = coin is fucking DOGSHIT. They are extremely risky. Also, I would ignore the shills. Alt coins are not going to have a blas off even if we do have a bullrun. Btc is going to be king. Im saying this in a depressed way, NOT as a btc shill. I would like alts to explode due to higher volatility potential to the upside in terms of percent gains. Maybe a few will have homeruns, but they are definitely a gamble.

If you want to trade, trading outside a bull market is how you lose money. Just dca btc. I lost like 60% in a few months. Ya, I didnt ALWAYS risk manage (2 trades in particular fucked me), but even then, things werent good.
