Did your parents give you pocket money growing up and when did that stop? Did you get a job when you were in High School/ College?

>> No.19209006

My parents would give me money to go places sometimes. I got a job at 16 though and that was the end of that.

been working since I was 14 years old, sometimes I would get $5 for mowing my lawn. Started paying my moms eletric bills at 17 from my shiity restaurant job that i worked nights after school. I like to think I had a rugged boomer upbringing.

I told her to stop and she refused, and she passes it off to me like we're doing a drug deal every time i'm over as if my grandpa doesn't know already.

I dont deserve my grandparents.

No. Really the only time I got money was for my birthday. Outside of that, sometimes my grandma would give me all the coins in her purse, and I'd save those up over time, put them in rolls, then cash them at the bank. I have fond memories of that, it was fun. Completing a quarter or dime roll felt fantastic.

My parents would give me money but I was a young kike and would challenge myself to go the entire week without spending any. And then I would give it back in exchange for GBP. This was during the recession so my parents really appreciated my frugal mindset. During the summer I'd spend weeks at my friends house, and try my hardest to kike everything I need off of him and not spend any money.
