Yes and no.
Its questionable and I believe Microsoft is being shady AF.

I cant give specifics because i still work company....but I worked a tech company that was close to being acquired by them about a decade ago.
Microsoft bought a fuckton of licenses and special support contracts and whatnot to have direct access to our devs.

After they got what they wanted, they ended up ripping our software off and releasing it as part of their one drive application.

In microvision's case.
It looks like they poached the main engineers and staff (~10 out of the 30 that worked there).

I dont think it was amiable. I think it was a predatory poaching of staff and talent.
Reason I say this is because i looked up every patent by Microvision over past 10 years and looked up every single name on linkedin.

Patents are being assigned to engineers who used to work at microvision who now work at Microsoft.

However, a teardown done this past week confirms 100% that MVIS parts are central and critical for hololens 2.

https://youtu.be/OmiQvjQuFqQ

I believe Microsoft slapped an NDA on Microvision and essentially left them out in the cold intentionally.

The more microvision starves, the cheaper acquisition will be.
The less other companies know about them, the lower the offer will be.

Being that Microvision holds ~500 patents including for the components that Microsoft is paying royalties for in the hololens 2...now MVIS is in position to bargin.

A larger company like Apple could come out of nowhere and give a buyout offer just to pull license out from Microsoft and cockblock them.
So now Microsoft has a time pressure to buyout fast before this happens.

Microsoft is predatory and throws their weight around and they treat their "partners" like shit because they can.
Relationship between MVIS and MSFT is most likely tenuous.

They know they are making a deal with the devil.

Hey frens.

I finally have some extra USD after paying off my loans and I feel like now is a good time to buy some Silver/Gold.

I got around $5k I want to spend. How should I divvy it up? I was thinking about 2 ounces of gold bars and the rest in silver bars?

I would recommend heavier into silver than gold, most important thing is to get absolute best price you can per ounce you purchase. factor everything in, taxes, shipping, any other costs.

Your best deal will be high quantities at your local coin store, most won't charge tax if you pay cash and very low premiums over spot price, ESPECIALLY if you are a friendly repeat customer. hold long term, don't let your fingers get weak. After that look/bid/offer on silver on ebay. After that then go ahead and look at options like APMEX and JMBullion.

Also price averaging. Spend that first investment at once to get a nice spread in a stack between bars, coins, junk silver etc. Then buy a little bit each month. Make a spreadsheet to know exactly how much you are in for over time.

imo if you're shelling out for a kilo bar or bigger, you could compare it to buying the same amount of silver in a bulk deal of 1oz rounds.. if it's not much savings, I would take the rounds because you could sell a fraction of it if you want

I saw a youtuber explaining that was why silver dimes and quarters are so popular. Basically for a scenario where one would be bartering for food and other necessities, you'll want to have small, recognizable coins like that

I expect along my stacking journey I'll drop a load of money on a 100oz bar for the fuck of it tho

>> No.19198335

Yes, my concern is will I also be able to unload it as easily or will I have to take a hit when I sell it to the dealer.

>>19198115
I don't plan on holding them to use as an actual currency but I understand others might.
I really just want silver to hold it for a year or so while the price appreciates and then sell it. I feel like the only person I can sell it to is a dealer and if its peak price they could refuse buying my hunks of silver as they aren't as practical.
I really want to make sure I'm going to be able to liquidate just as easily when the time comes

>> No.19198457

>>19198335
I feel like with ASE's you will get your premiums back because Americans want American coins. A hardcore stacker might be only interested in bang for buck but I think you're thinking right - to some people, the big hunks just aren't practical. I would rather stack 1oz rounds above all, and I would prefer something like ASE's and gold buffalos because people desire them most. Dealers understand this as well, and they will pay you more for ASE's than for generic rounds. For hueg bars you're going to pay less premiums but you also won't receive premiums when selling so it all evens out in the end I believe

This is how I feel about it anyways and I'm new to /pmg/ so don't take my word as gospel

>> No.19198517

>>19198457
Yeah, I don't care about the premiums I just want to be able to offload it relatively easy. I mean, I'm not looking at 70 pound industrial use silver. Maybe I'm over thinking this which I have a tendency to do.

>> No.19198522

>>19198335
Kilo bars are pretty easy to sell off if you post on a stackers forum/group. Just a warning metals usually aren't a buy and sell for a profit type commodity as they take a long time to move considerably, their value comes from hedging long term against a dying dollar and I believe the silver price will continue to be suppressed until the collapse comes

How many times do I need to Roo post. I started this in February. Go through the archives.

I have been shilling Perth mint for ages.
>only mint that is not closed or heavily restricted due to virus
> gold and silver is sourced from local mines and market, so if kikes default on futures, Perth mint still has delivery of tonnes from mines only a few hundred kms away.
>record Roos produced
>you have always been able to order gold Roos, when panic buying started you could still order all Perth mint products. Only for about a month could you not order Perth mint silver direct, but you could through Australian bullion dealers who closed orders to public but not the Australian bullion dealers as they could not handle the logistics of 10000’s of orders.

>t. The anon that sold all his faggot maple leafs and other normally low premium silver for 3x to panic buying retards and then using that money ordered 2x my stack on back order and now 8 weeks later took delivery of every order I made with Perth mint but am still waiting on a few pamp 1kg and Baird and co. 1kg

Pic related. All paid during the $14 dip and all now delivered. Doubled my stack, got rid of shitty coins for 3x and used profit to buy some coins I like such as sealed 2020 us eagles and the chad 1kg kookaburra coin.

Sutton studied the Yales' secret society for years and came to the conclusion this was the top of the US elite who was initiated there to directly serve the illuminakikes. There is a core of 20 families who get initiated since the early 1800's and they mass produces our POTUS, FED chairmans, ambassadors, secretary of the treasury, Golman sachs/JPMorgan/Citigroup CEOs, etc...
And Skull&Bones initiates have total control over the monetary policies of the IMF and the US since at least a century, it's their "specialization"

Thanks fren. Good advice.

Does the premium go up when buying coins/rounds like that? From what I understood bars are the best way to get low premiums.

Not really clean them just conserve them acetone doesn't affect the tarnish or toning, it just removes any gunk and residue of pvc. However, baking soda + tinfoil does remove tarnish and according to some will remove the numismatic value and it will also leave scratches. The coin will be very shiny though after, if that is your thing.

There are different theories, a prevalent one is becoming higher beings, gods, by reuniting their feminine and masculine parts when the new age of Aquarius come up.
Accelerating the coming of the antechrist by giving the rightful heir of Jesus the throne of Jerusalem and fulfilling the Nimrod's dream.

It's very long and complicated, i could go on on the matter for hours.. A very, very short tldr would be the mysteries schools believe since the dawn of times that when we were closer to God in the Garden of Eden, we were a complete divine being and we knew how to pronounciate the secret name of God, the tetragrammaton, and it was giving us immense power. But then this vindicative God decided we were a threat to his power, so he decided to "split" us in half, the solar, active part (the masculine principle : Jakin), and the lunar, passive part (the feminine principle : Boaz). The only way for us to regain our divine power is to reunite our two principles, this is the whole goal of the Kabbalah for example. This is why Baphomet is their favorite depiction of this secret : an enlightened being, detaching from it's animalistic nature, with both boobs and a penis in erection, poiting as the sun (solve) and the earth (coagula), the principles of alchemia (Al-Kemi) : the purification and mixing of matter toward the transubstantiation.
This is why they are pushing a feminization of men and a masculinization of women, via the transgenderism, the equal rights movements, neofeminism, matriachy, etc..

See the man as the key and the woman as the keyhole. But in order to achieve this merging of both principles to reunite in our previous divine state, (((they))) must achieve a list of stuff, which i could explain to you but it would take a while..

Silver is held for when the dollar doesn't exist. Its price is held down with paper. People that stack silver aren't interested in making a profit in dollars. They want to have wealth when a real currency appears after a collapse.

Bought 10x 2 marks and 1x 5 mark. They’re really neat coins. Wish I could find 5 reichsmarks in bulk, seems like the only way is buying individually on ebay.
