You don't need elaborate arguments anymore, because everyone knows it's a scam now. Nobody defends it, there is a general understanding among everyone that Tether is fraud and bound to fail eventually.

But everything will go on as usual until the music stops.

but if you think about it for a second, if you are market making the largest stable coin in the business, on every exchange worth a damn, you are going to make so much profit your head would spin, and they've been doing that for years. i'm pretty sure they have way more than they need to cover the tether supply.

No, this is a narrative uneducated keyboard warriors spew on social media and biz to sound intelligent.

Up to 75% of USDT in circulation is backed by USD deposits or other assets. OTC desks (particularly in asia and europe) use USDT to get exposure to Bitcoin because it's easier than going through banks).

The people saying things about tether have no practical understanding of how Bitcoin and its related markets function.

I called it from the moment Tether existed, again when they declared their USDs that back the USDT are offshored. And again when the lawsuits got on binance and tether, forcing them to reveal what i predicted all along.

They are fractionally reserving their shit, just like rothschild et al in the 1800's europe. USDT is a USD certificate. You only need to looks back 40 years to the suspension of the gold standard to see just how solid certificates are in the grand scheme of things. They claim its backed 1 for 1, but in reality all that backed stuff was taken to buy risky assets.

Tether needs special attention from the ethereum and btc mining communities. Its not a hard to imagine, (as the first Tether pump and dump did) the media co opting this shit as an attack on all blockchain.
