No, uniswap liquidity pool can more than handle it, what you need to do however is click 'advanced' and then select your max slippage (max % over current price youre willing to pay) and then select a time limit. Because it incentivises people to form liquidity pools youll get matched with the best possible price. I put 20k with no problems, took about ten minutes to clear with 2% slippage.
