No linkers: why did you miss out on LINK despite we've been talking about it non stop for more than 2 years?

The price action looks like **** unless you got in in April 2019. Ultimately investing now depends on your belief in its utility/long term adoption. Considering even Bitcoin has something close to zero use case I have stored this in the same category as XRP - a fantasy coin that's dependent on the dream of mass adoption. LINK has been (and IMO will always be) a speculative investment full stop. What you'll see in the future with this coin (and can already see) is a lesser oscillation (a smaller rise and drop) until it finds the middle ground. Just like BTC.

In the near term future this may rise a bit more (potentially even a lot more) depending on the economic crisis we are in, however it's now impossible to deny (especially looking at the 90/180 day charts) that it's another altcoin that strictly follows the BTC price pattern - thus it doesn't matter if you invest in LINK or any other popular altcoin. Any future breakout success not tied to the economic situation is irrevocably linked to the blockchain adoption dream. Importantly, I would love to see mass adoption but it's important to get some perspective by taking yourself out of your crypto headspace for a while and realizing that most people simply don't care about crypto aside from as a get rich quick gamble. The demand however, the paradigm shift is simply not there at the moment. You may call me a naysayer but the burden of proof would be on the proponents of the coin considering the past behavior of cryptocurrency. This is more of a rant about crypto than LINK.

TLDR: If blockchain sees mass adoption every coin will rise (conceivably this more than others), otherwise this coin will stagnate.

Especially over the last year now that LINK has gained prominence. Obviously the notion of altcoins being tied to BTC is beating a dead horse; but it's not an entirely fair point because obviously the S&P500 (for the most part) moves in much of the same way. Crypto simply has much less independent variance between coins - they're all in the same market.

They haven’t missed out on link. Link still has potential to grow a huge amount. It’s still in very early stages. The only difference is the price of entry has rise. From 2000 dollars to 20,000 dollars

LINK literally moves independently from bitcoin for the last two years wtf are you talking about.

This post is pure autism.

Imagine thinking that “most people think crypto is just a ponzi”, dude, you can only conceive of “normies” and “crypto traders”, but actually there are professionals in many industries looking at blockchain and smart contract technologies for their utility. What you posted reeks of dunning Kruger

some people out there like this guy, are the average IQ guys that are intelligent enough to think for themselves, but stupid eenough to not see past their own prejudice. this is a perfect example of people that actually never make it in life. always play it safe and only go for someonething once it's too late.
high IQ people can have self critique and go past that and give the things they rationally dont believe in a chance, this guy, is sitting right in the middle.

I don't think most people think crypto is a ponzi (strawman). However most people do think of crypto (and to a much greater extent altcoins) as a speculative investment. I do own crypto and take my arguments as devil's advocacy.

The "professionals looking at blockchain" etc. argument hasn't boded well over the decade, and the burden of proof is on you considering the reality that cryptocurrency has no use case besides as an investment i.e. most people invest in crypto because of the unprecedented returns. You can reply with speculation and ad hominem, but what you can't reply with are facts because it's simply not the case (I'd love to be proven wrong here). I would like to see blockchain adoption - but it's important not to get lost in the fantasies and to acknowledge that the existing institutions are going to fight for their lives to defend existing financial paradigm. Dunning Kruger lol, RH has really rubbed off on this board.

>>19153090
Intelligence is a spectrum, it's just a word with no intrinsic meaning in and of itself, there are all different types of intelligence. I have noticed that intelligent people typically don't have to prove or rationalize to others they're intelligent or others are less intelligent, they're just intelligent. Quoting Game of Thrones lol 'Any man who must say, "I am the King", is no true king.'

I do believe a lot in the principle that typically past behavior is the best predictor of future behavior. I don't discount the possibility that LINK or whatever will be adopted en masse, however it's still a speculative investment at this point. Without some sort of major revolution it's hard to envision an altcoin seeing ANY use case. I don't pretend to be an expert in this field, but again, it's more on you to convince me that there is going to be a revolution because that's exactly what it will take and the fundamentals haven't changed.
