I’m reading more about this rn as I hadn’t tried selling via the official exchange and didn’t notice it was lower than buy price. My understanding is that they had an initial fixed cost fundraiser where they received eth and gave dxd. Now it’s a curve but during that period it was a flat line (fixed rate). Of those funded eth, 90% allocated to the running of projects and paying people for their work. 10% was set aside to buy back DXD on the official exchange (which burns the bought dxd in the process).
This is a way for people who receive DXD as payment for work on projects, or through revenue of their products, to sell it for ETH. In that case I’m not sure why they wouldn’t just trade it on an exchange for higher. Try asking in the telegram I haven’t joined it. There’s definitely a high level of autistry going on
