You do realize the more people mine, the mathematically harder it becomes to mine BTC? It's to keep it so that mining proceeds at a steady rate so that the halving only takes place every 4 years. Due to the amount of bitcoin (BTC) farms out there, unless you join a bitcoin mining group online, the likelyhood of you getting even 0.000001 BTC is very unlikely. There's a lot of computing power going into mining at the moment. Specialized hardware. Also take into account electricity costs and equipment costs.
